coorg view from hotel

Road trip from Bangalore to Coorg and Medikeri is one of the exciting ride.To do a perfect 2 nights 3 days plan or plannning for a week end start early in the morning around 4am with absolutly no traffic  reach Bidadi and have an amazing thatte idli for breakfast carry on with your journey towards mysore. To enjoy the road trip travelling through car would be a better option then bike,no matter what bike you take you will feel the heat and dust all along the road due to a lot of construction on the bangalore mysore highway once you reach Coorg or Medikeri it would be opposite with a lot of cold and drizziling most of the time

Reach coorg on the way nearing to coorg you can visit Nisargadhama - basically its a small park where visitors are allowed to enter few shallow water along the river cauvery to play and enjoy spending a hour or two would be a good experience specially for the the people who like to relax and go to park. entry fee would rs 20 for parking and 10rs for the park entry fee. Out side the park you can also try exploring 3d mirror maze ,12D cinema, horse riding , a lot of eatables and shops to buy souvenir are available

- NOTE - To explore maximum locations and tourist spots it is always advisable to book your stay in kushalnagar, virajpet or medikeri

in case your going only to relax then resorts in coorg would be ideal or any of the places mentioned above

looking for properties with a beautful views coorg cliff resort is advisable with amazing swimming pool overlooking the beautiful nature as far as you can see, plantation valley view room are most beautiful rooms with a private balcony and amazing valley view, and  plantation walk ,cycling and bonfire are part of your package ( the route to reach the hotel from coorg or from medikeri is completly damaged the hotel is at very interior and advise to book only if you have a four wheeler. no shops for approx 6km vicinity and no public transport)

Must visit places in coorg and Medikeri -

ABBEY FALLS

Abbey falls is one of most beautiful falls. The entrance is free for all the tourist how ever you would have to pay for parking not much options for resturants only 2 shops are available at the entrance. you can get soft drinks, chats and noodles. once you enter the way to falls is beautifully maintained with more then 300 steps to go down and fenced both the sides . Always advise to carry water and  childrens below 7 might face difficulties in going down and climbing back  once you go down you would not have any thing purchase.once you reach at the tip you would a see beautiful falls unfortunatly you cannot play in the water or go very near but you can feel the cool breez from the falls there is also a bridge where you can cross and go to the other side unfortunatly its broken.

RAJA SEAT ( VIEW POINT )

Raje seat view point is easily reachable from abbey falls not very far one you reach again need to walk a lot from entrance. But worth a walk one you reach the view point you can witness a stunning view of nature with amazing climate round the year

MALALI FALLS

About 60km towards the north from abbey falls you can visit another beautiful falls. the way to Malali falls is very beautiful and amazing views with mountains sourrounded by thick fog beautiful lakes amazing weather through our the year you can also see small streams of water flowing from the mountains. Advise to stop and taste the natural mountain water and refresh your self.refer pictures attached once you reach its free of cost see how ever if you compare malali and abbey falls with each other i personally fely malali is better then abbey falls to see the falls closely you need to go down 530steps approx unlike abbey you can go very near not exactly below the falls but very near it is beautifully maintained with fencing on both the side very difficult for aged people to go down and climb back steps are not broad and are big in height

you can also visit Dubare elephant camp, vintage cars factory , talacauvery but seeing all the places would be very hectic in 2 nights plan how ever would not want to suggest any one to go beyond 2nights or 3 nights max but if any one are going there for relaxing you can go as many as days you fell better

wine tasting and tasing of natural coorg honey is also an exiciting activity for the people who drinks wine and for the once who dont tasting honey or buying a pure natural honey with govt approved seal pack would be ideal
